Bonnie Martens
Bonnie L. Martens, 76, 128 Marbello Court, St. Marys, died at 11:20 p.m. Jan. 8, 2007, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
She was born Jan. 5, 1931, in Mercer County, to Oscar and Marie Baker Schaadt. On June 4, 1954, she married Herman Junior Martens, who died March 5, 1996.
Survivors are a daughter, Trina L. (James) Drieling, Piqua; five sisters, Margaret Rismiller and Norma May Utz, both of Versailles, Anna Lee Kohlhorst, Rockford, Lois Gross, Miami County, and Rosemary Knapke, Celina; and two grandchildren.
She was a homemaker, a graduate of Celina High School and a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Celina.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Arvid Harklau officiating. Burial is at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
