* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations up to one inch. Snow melt and refreezing overnight has resulted in the development of black ice on roads.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...Until 11 AM EST this morning.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute.

Snow showers to continue this morning. Slick spots on area roads will be possible this morning with temperatures below freezing. Motorists can expect rapid changes in visibility when encountering some of the heavier snow showers. Northwest winds gusting up to 30 mph will add to the travel impacts due to blowing and drifting snow.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Thorsen Henkle
Thorsen L. Henkle, 89, of Rockford, died at 2:45 p.m. Nov. 12, 2008, at Laurels of Shane Hill Nursing Home, Rockford.
He was born Dec. 6, 1918, in Rockford to John and Dess Buckey Henkle. On Dec. 25, 1938, he married Helen Burris, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Michael (Linda), Rockford; two daughters: Connie Marbaugh, Willshire, and Linda Hart, Columbus; a daughter-in-law, Kathy, Rockford; a brother, Dan (Jean), Rockford; a sister, Helen Hakes, Berne, Ind.; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Steve; two brothers, Bill and John Jr.; a sister Marguerite Baker; a great-grandchild and a great-great-grandchild.
He was a self-employed plasterer for more than 60 years and served in the U. S. Navy during World War II. He attended Rockford United Methodist Church.
Memorial services are 11:30 a.m. Nov. 29, 2008, at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, the Rev. Dennis Henkle officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Rockford, with military graveside services.
Calling is 10:30-11:30 a.m. Nov. 29, 2008, at the funeral home.
