Erma Wendel
Erma A. C. Wendel, 86, 58 W. Main St., Burkettsville, died at 8:23 p.m. Nov. 12, 2008, at her residence.
She was born March 8, 1922, in Burkettsville, to Joseph and Gertrude Hemmelgarn Rammel. On Jan. 15, 1949, she married Louis Wendel, who died Nov. 12, 1992.
Surviving are three daughters, Janet Price, Pat Pitsenbarger and Sandra (Steve) Timmerman, all of Burkettsville; a brother, Luke (Velma) Rammel, St. Henry; a sister-in-law, Norma Rammel, Coldwater; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Donald and Art Rammel; and a grandchild.
She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, Burkettsville, and its Ladies Guild.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Tom Hemm officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 1-6 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
