The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

At 519 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Waynesfield, moving northeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and very heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible.
Locations impacted include... Alger, Waynesfield, Roundhead, Mcguffey, Silver Creek, Jumbo, New Hampshire, Walton, and State Route 195 at State Route 235.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.
Motorists should slow down and use extra caution.

Barbara Tester
Barbara E. Tester, 74, 612 W. Cron St., Celina, died at 3:09 a.m. May 7, 2009 at Lima Memorial Hospital.
She was born Oct. 8, 1934, in Sherwood to Dolar and Blanch Arnold Goins. On Feb.23, 1952, she married Edward E. Tester, who survives.
Other survivors are a son, Rick (Sonya) Tester, Celina; two sisters, Mable Blosser, Celina, and Deloris Miller, Van Wert; four brothers, Raymond (Dollie) Goins and Dwight "Bud" (Sherry) Goins, all of Celina, Robert Goins, Boulder, Nev., and Dale (Debbie) Goins, St. Marys; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a sister and brothers-in-law, Betty and Herb Hirsch, Louie Blosser and Craig Miller.
She retired in 1988 from Reynolds & Reynolds in Celina and most recently was employed in the craft department at Wal-Mart in Celina. She was a member of the Celina First Church of God.
Graveside services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Fairview Cemetery, Celina, the Rev. Bruce Strine officiating.
Contributions can be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
