The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Charles Schrolucke
Charles W. "Mustache Charlie" Schrolucke, 78, of Brookville, died at 12:57 a.m. May 24, 2009, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 28, 1930, in New Knoxville to Harry and Bertha Klute Schrolucke.
Surviving are his wife, Gwendolyn Schriml Meyers Schrolucke; a daughter, Twyla (Mel) Bice, Bluffton, Ind.; a son, Mark (Bev) Schrolucke, Troy; stepchildren, Debbie K. and Randy L. Christensen, Carmen (Rick) Myers, Dale Meyers Jr., Adam (Donna) Meyers, Samantha Tipton and Samuel Benzinger; four sisters, Dorothy Prueter, Janice (Paul) Schumacher, Grace Young and Mary (Carl) Schmehl, all of New Knoxville; a sister-in-law, Kathryn Schrolucke, New Knoxville; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Deceased is his first wife, Marie B. Knudsen Schrolucke, and a brother, Aaron H. Schrolucke.
He was a life member and past president of Shamrock Athletic Club and a member of the Dayton Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Beavercreek Moose Lodge. He was a veteran of the Korean war, having served in the U.S. Army.
There will be no services.
Memorials may be made to the Dayton VA Hospital or Hospice of Dayton.
