A band of snow showers will drop into the region from northern Indiana, and push through the region through the afternoon. Some snow showers could produce a quick light coating of snow on elevated surfaces and bridges. Visibility may also be briefly reduced to a half mile or even less. Northwest winds will also gust up to 30 MPH.
Lighter snowfall will continue into the evening behind the initial band of snow showers, with accumulations from a few tenths to isolated accumulations of up to an inch.
Motorists should exercise caution and be prepared for rapidly changing conditions.

Linus Bergman
Linus E. Bergman, 92, St. Henry, died Jan. 10, 2011, at his home.
He was born Dec. 26, 1918, in Maria Stein, to Joseph and Catherine Schmitt Bergman. On Oct. 22, 1947, he married Rita Selhorst, who died in 2004.
Surviving are five children, Paul (Barbara) Bergman, Cincinnati, Gary (Kathryn) Bergman, Cincinnati, Kathy Bergman, Phoenix, Ariz., Ethel (David) Kaiser, St. Henry, and JoAnn (Scott) Sommer, Cincinnati; two sisters, Merilda (Herman) Hoying, St. Henry, and Saloma Pleiman, Coldwater; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Also deceased are a brother, Wilfred Bergman; a sister, Anna Rita Sanders; two brothers-in-law, Arthur Pleiman and Joseph Sanders; and a sister-in-law, Julianna Bergman.
He served in the U.S. Army Corp in England, North Africa, Italy and France during World War II. He was a member of the St. Henry Catholic Church, the Ohio Farm Bureau, the National and Ohio Holstein associations, and the Egypt Community Club. He was a past supervisor of the Auglaize County Soil and Water Association. He was a former member of the St. Henry Kiwanis and a board member for the Food Storage Co-Op and the Farmers Co-Op, both of Minster.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Benedict Magabe officiating. Burial is at the St. Henry Cemetery in St. Henry.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
Memorials may be made to the St. Henry Library, the American Heart Association or the State of the Heart Hospice.
