Snow showers associated with an arctic front are moving through this morning, providing a quick accumulation of snowfall. With wind gusts between 30 and 40 mph, the snow showers combined with blowing snow are reducing visibility and creating challenging travel conditions. These conditions are most impactful on roads that are more rural and are aligned from north to south. Even after the snow ends, elevated winds will continue to blow snow into the early afternoon.
Use caution and allow for extra time to reach your destination.

Linda Burklo
Linda L. Selby Burklo, 58, St. Marys, died at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 21, 2011, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
She was born Oct. 4, 1952, in St. Marys to Oma Jr. and Mary Hayes Selby. On Aug. 17, 1973, she married Charles Burklo, who survives.
Also surviving is a son, Matthew (Angelina) Burklo, Coldwater; two daughters, Melanie (Wyatt) Erb, Sidney, and Mary (Nathan) Overley, St. Marys; two brothers, Michael (Barb) Selby, Moulton, and Bill Selby, St. Marys; three sisters, Judy (Charles) Cooper, St. Marys, Susan (Doug) Zautner, Altamont, N.Y., and Donna (Vic) Shinabery, St. Marys; and 11 grandchildren.
She was a 1970 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. She was a life member of the St. Marys Ladies Legion Auxiliary Post 323. She worked for 10 years at DL Steiner in Lima and at the Celina Area Visiting Nurses.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at Cisco Funeral Home in St. Marys. Burial is at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the St. Marys Legion Post 323.
