The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for... Northwestern Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* Until 900 AM EDT.
* At 606 AM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Ohio, including the following counties, in central Ohio, Delaware, Franklin, Licking, Madison and Union. In west central Ohio, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Hardin, Logan, Mercer, Miami and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will move across parts of the area this morning, possibly extending into early afternoon. This may result in bands of heavier rainfall that could lead to flash flooding.

Eileen Borchers
Eileen A. Borchers, 92, Fort Loramie, died June 14, 2011, at Fair Haven Nursing Home, Sidney.
She was born Sept. 11, 1918, in Anna, to Louis and Rose Meyer Bornhorst. On June 14, 1941, she married Frank Borchers, who died May 14, 1984.
Surviving are 13 children: Irene (James "Jake") Sherman, Fort Loramie, Teresa (Robert) Puthoff, Sidney, Phyllis (Kenneth) Salyers, Kettering, Bernice (Carl) Hoying, Springboro, Henry (Elena) Borchers, Centerville, Diane Borchers, Kettering, Larry (Denise) Borchers, Huber Heights, Jerome (Theresa) Borchers, Yellow Springs, Leo (Michele) Borchers, Fort Loramie, Clement (Jeannine) Borchers, Ashland, Mass., Mary Ann (Denis) Rochat, Knoxville, Tenn., Francis Borchers, Felton, Calif., and Raymond (Let) Borchers, Maui, Hawaii; seven siblings, Ralph (Madeline) Bornhorst, Anna, Homer (Mary Lou) Bornhorst, Fort Loramie, Martha Borchers, Russia, Paul Bornhorst, McCartyville, Verona Peoppelman, New Bremen, Dorothy Combs, Sardinia, and Raymond (Doris) Bornhorst, Anna; 43 grandchildren; and 64 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are four siblings, Norma Bensman, Lester Bornhorst, Urban Bornhorst and Adella Brown; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A homemaker, she attended St. Michael Catholic Church, Fort Loramie, where she was a member of St. Ann's Rosary Altar Society, the Apostleship of Prayer Promoters and the Third Order Franciscan Sisters of The Poor. She taught CCD for many years and had served as elementary director of religious education. She also was an avid volunteer.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Gehret Funeral Home, Fort Loramie.
