The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for... Northwestern Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* Until 900 AM EDT.
* At 606 AM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Ohio, including the following counties, in central Ohio, Delaware, Franklin, Licking, Madison and Union. In west central Ohio, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Hardin, Logan, Mercer, Miami and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will move across parts of the area this morning, possibly extending into early afternoon. This may result in bands of heavier rainfall that could lead to flash flooding.

Homer Robinette
Homer Ray Robinette, 70, St. Marys, died at 11:56 a.m. June 14, 2011, at Doctor's West Hospital, Columbus, following a sudden illness.
He was born June 2, 1941, in Williamson, W.Va., to Lee and Effie Blacke Robinette.
Surviving are two children, Melissa J. Plokhooy, St. Marys, and Ray (Stephanie) Robinette, Monticello, Ky; four sisters, Lottie Kirk, Columbus, Maxine Noan, Carey, Bonnie Watts, Columbus, Nella Watts, Columbus; four brothers, Jim Robinette, Sycamore, Jeff Robinette, Williamson, Carlos Robinette, Plain City, and Walter Robinette, Columbus; numerous brothers- and sisters-in law; and two grandchildren.
Deceased are two sisters, Wanda Robinette and Lucille Kirk; and three grandsons.
He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, St. Marys, after 30 years service. He also owned and operated a lawn care service for many years. He was a member of Eagles Lodge 767 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9289, St. Marys.
Service is 11 a.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. John Mobley officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
