At 459 PM EDT, gusty showers were located along a line extending from near Ada to near Northridge, moving east at 25 mph. Some of these showers are capable of producing funnel clouds and isolated thunder.
HAZARD...Funnel clouds and wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include... Marysville, Bellefontaine, Urbana, Kenton, Ada, Plain City, Richwood, St. Paris, West Liberty, Mechanicsburg, North Lewisburg, Forest, Russells Point, De Graff, Lakeview, Dunkirk, Alger, Belle Center, West Mansfield, and Chippewa Park.
Conditions are favorable for the development of weak, brief funnel clouds. This type of funnel cloud is harmless, but on rare occasions they can briefly touch down, producing wind gusts over 50 mph. If a funnel cloud is spotted move indoors and report your sighting to the National Weather Service.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.

Mark Pax
Mark A. Pax, 67, Versailles, died at 9:07 a.m. Jan. 10, 2012, as the result of an auto accident.
He was born Oct. 11, 1944, in Mercer County, to Oscar and Cordula Post Pax. On May 23, 1975, he married Patricia Swallow, who survives.
Also surviving are seven stepchildren, Deb (Jim) Kauffman, Arcanum, Cindy (Roger) Wolfe, Union City, Mike (Toni) Burt, Huntington, W.Va., Sandy (Anson) Whelan, Sadieville, Ky., Karen Burt, Troy, Brenda (Nick) Ganger, Alanson, Mich., and David (Cherie) Ganger, Sidney; five siblings, the Rev. Ulric Pax, Albuquerque, N.M., Francis (Joan) Pax, Coldwater, John Pax, Camden, David (Marilyn) Pax, Celina, and Marvin (Jo Ann) Pax, Jacksonville, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Thelma Pax, Celina; 21 stepgrandchildren; 19 stepgreat-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are an infant daughter, Jennifer Pax; three siblings, Tom Pax, the Rev. Ray Pax and the Rev. Bart Pax; and three step-grandchildren.
A member of St. Denis Catholic Church, Versailles, he attended St. Remy Catholic Church, Russia.
He was employed by Pax Machine, Coldwater, and was owner/operator of Pax This-N-That Gift Shop, Versailles, for 22 years until his retirement.
He served in the U.S. Air Force for four years. He was a member of the Versailles VFW.
He was a graduate of the former Immaculate Conception High School and Ohio Northern University.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Frank Amberger officiating. Burial will follow in St. Valbert Cemetery, Versailles.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles.
