At 459 PM EDT, gusty showers were located along a line extending from near Ada to near Northridge, moving east at 25 mph. Some of these showers are capable of producing funnel clouds and isolated thunder.
HAZARD...Funnel clouds and wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include... Marysville, Bellefontaine, Urbana, Kenton, Ada, Plain City, Richwood, St. Paris, West Liberty, Mechanicsburg, North Lewisburg, Forest, Russells Point, De Graff, Lakeview, Dunkirk, Alger, Belle Center, West Mansfield, and Chippewa Park.
Conditions are favorable for the development of weak, brief funnel clouds. This type of funnel cloud is harmless, but on rare occasions they can briefly touch down, producing wind gusts over 50 mph. If a funnel cloud is spotted move indoors and report your sighting to the National Weather Service.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.

Hazel Rudolph
Hazel P. "Ginger" Rudolph, 90, Celina, died at 1:40 p.m. Jan. 10, 2012, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Nov. 15, 1921, in West Milton, to Harley and Rosa Bond Newman. On March 22, 1945, she married Leroy Rudolph, who died April 13, 1994.
Surviving
are a daughter, Dusky "Sharon" Crosley, Azle, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son William Newman; seven siblings, Sherman Newman, Donald Newman, Dennis Newman, Maurice Newman, Richard Newman, Patricia Persinger and Helen Saunders.
A 1939 graduate of Milton-Union High School, she served with the U.S. Air Force during World War II. She worked as a beautician and sold real estate with Ken Wright, Greenville. She was co-owner/operator with her husband of Newman Trucking, Troy. She was part owner of D.B. Ecology Company, Troy.
She was a member of Disabled American Veterans, Greenville, past commander of Celina American Legion Post, a life member of Celina VFW Auxiliary, and member of Celina Amvets, Shaboom Fan Club, Mercer County Council on Aging and National Association of American Women. She was known as Mrs. Claus for more than 30 years in the Celina area.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Bailey-Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles, the Rev. Stephen Howell officiating. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery, Versailles.
Calling is 3-6 p.m. Saturday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, and 3-6 p.m. Sunday at Bailey-Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles.
