At 459 PM EDT, gusty showers were located along a line extending from near Ada to near Northridge, moving east at 25 mph. Some of these showers are capable of producing funnel clouds and isolated thunder.
HAZARD...Funnel clouds and wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include... Marysville, Bellefontaine, Urbana, Kenton, Ada, Plain City, Richwood, St. Paris, West Liberty, Mechanicsburg, North Lewisburg, Forest, Russells Point, De Graff, Lakeview, Dunkirk, Alger, Belle Center, West Mansfield, and Chippewa Park.
Conditions are favorable for the development of weak, brief funnel clouds. This type of funnel cloud is harmless, but on rare occasions they can briefly touch down, producing wind gusts over 50 mph. If a funnel cloud is spotted move indoors and report your sighting to the National Weather Service.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.

Cleona Wyen
Former Minster resident Cleona C. Wyen, 90, died at 4:05 p.m. Jan. 12, 2012, at Briarwood Manor, Coldwater, where she had been a patient for two years.
She was born March 3, 1921, in St. Patrick to Joseph and Henrietta Alternatt Meyer. On June 3, 1941, she married Victor A. Wyen, who died May 26, 1974.
Surviving are children, Rev. Larry Wyen, Coldwater, Kathy (Steven) Arshan, New Jersey, David (Jane) Wyen, Texas, Dennis (Winnie) Wyen, Troy, Jim Wyen, Minster, Vicki (Max) Cotterman, New Bremen, Carol (Rick) Hoffman, Cincinnati, Mary Kay Wyen, Minster, Ted (Tina) Wyen, Enon, Philip (Diane) Wyen, Minster, and Doug Wyen, Sidney; siblings, Vernon Meyer, Fort Loramie, and Lawrence (Helen) Meyer, McCartyville; sisters-in-law, Betty Wyen, Minster, and Phyllis Peoppelman, Egypt; 25 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are son, Richard Wyen; three sisters; three brothers; three infant siblings; and two grandchildren.
She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster and was a past sacristan. She volunteered with Mission Comission and the garage sale. She was a member of the Auglaize County Board of Mental Retardation.
A homemaker, she had worked at Wyen and Cotterman, Minster Canning Factory and KMart.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Revs. Larry Wyen and Nick Nieberding officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Augustine Cemetery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
