At 459 PM EDT, gusty showers were located along a line extending from near Ada to near Northridge, moving east at 25 mph. Some of these showers are capable of producing funnel clouds and isolated thunder.
HAZARD...Funnel clouds and wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include... Marysville, Bellefontaine, Urbana, Kenton, Ada, Plain City, Richwood, St. Paris, West Liberty, Mechanicsburg, North Lewisburg, Forest, Russells Point, De Graff, Lakeview, Dunkirk, Alger, Belle Center, West Mansfield, and Chippewa Park.
Conditions are favorable for the development of weak, brief funnel clouds. This type of funnel cloud is harmless, but on rare occasions they can briefly touch down, producing wind gusts over 50 mph. If a funnel cloud is spotted move indoors and report your sighting to the National Weather Service.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.

Calvin Gagle
Calvin R. Gagle, 83, Portland, Ind., died Jan. 13, 2012, at his son's home in Fort Recovery.
He was born Aug. 27, 1928, in Mercer County to Linville and Regina Killian Gagle. On Nov. 16, 1958, he married Clementine Teeters, who died Dec. 18, 1997. On Sept. 24, 2004, he married Dorothy Wiley, who survives in Portland.
Also surviving are children, Cindy (Bill) Bracy, Portsmouth, Vir., and David (Kasey) Gagle, Fort Recovery; stepchildren, Anita (Brian) Wendel, Ossian, Ind., Lois Wiley, Richmond, Ind., Rita Wiley, Portland, Lorie (Jeff) Overholser, rural Portland, and Julie (Wes) Kohler, Ossian; three sisters, Verla Roessner, Fort Recovery, Alice (Carrol) Eichenauer, Fort Recovery, and Clara McWay, Lima; 11 grandchildren; and eight step grandchildren.
A 1946 graduate of Fort Recovery High School, he served with the U. S. Army from 1951-53. He attended Noble Congregational Church and previously attended Fort Recovery Church of the Nazarene.
He farmed in Noble Township, Jay County for several years and owned/operated Fort Recovery Laundry and Car Wash for more than 20 years.
Services are 2 p.m. Monday at Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home, Portland, the Rev. Mike Murrel officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Calling is 1-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
