At 459 PM EDT, gusty showers were located along a line extending from near Ada to near Northridge, moving east at 25 mph. Some of these showers are capable of producing funnel clouds and isolated thunder.
HAZARD...Funnel clouds and wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include... Marysville, Bellefontaine, Urbana, Kenton, Ada, Plain City, Richwood, St. Paris, West Liberty, Mechanicsburg, North Lewisburg, Forest, Russells Point, De Graff, Lakeview, Dunkirk, Alger, Belle Center, West Mansfield, and Chippewa Park.
Conditions are favorable for the development of weak, brief funnel clouds. This type of funnel cloud is harmless, but on rare occasions they can briefly touch down, producing wind gusts over 50 mph. If a funnel cloud is spotted move indoors and report your sighting to the National Weather Service.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.

Fred Aukerman Jr.
Former Findlay resident Fred Aukerman Jr., 81, Otterbein Senior Lifestyle Choices, St. Marys, died Jan. 25, 2012, at Community Hospital, Coldwater.  He was born Aug. 19, 1930, in Wabash, Ind. to Fred H.B. and Ruby Keefer Aukerman. On June 5, 1955, he married Arline E. Hawn, who survives in St. Marys.  Also surviving are children, Hugh (Sue) Aukerman, Celina, Roger (Deb) Aukerman, Normal, Ill., and Betty (Brad) Kennedy, Wooster, and four grandchildren.
Deceased are siblings, Charles Aukerman and Anna Lou Aukerman.
A graduate of Linlawn High School, Wabash, and International Business College, Fort Wayne, Ind., he retired from Marathon Oil Company, Findlay, where he was an accountant.
He was a decorated veteran, having served with the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of DAV and Hanna Lodge, Free and Accepted Masons in Wabash. He was an adult leader with the Boy Scouts for many years.
He was a member of Churches of God and Great Lakes Conference, where he served as an administrator and past president of the conference.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday in Meyer Community Chapel at Otterbein, the Rev. Richard Van Horn officiating. Full military honors will be conducted following the service. Burial is at 3:30 p.m. in Compton Cemetery, Columbia City, Ind.
Calling is 9-11 a.m. Saturday in the Meyer Community Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Camp Otyokwah, Church of God or Otterbein Senior Lifestyle Choices, St. Marys.
