At 459 PM EDT, gusty showers were located along a line extending from near Ada to near Northridge, moving east at 25 mph. Some of these showers are capable of producing funnel clouds and isolated thunder.
HAZARD...Funnel clouds and wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include... Marysville, Bellefontaine, Urbana, Kenton, Ada, Plain City, Richwood, St. Paris, West Liberty, Mechanicsburg, North Lewisburg, Forest, Russells Point, De Graff, Lakeview, Dunkirk, Alger, Belle Center, West Mansfield, and Chippewa Park.
Conditions are favorable for the development of weak, brief funnel clouds. This type of funnel cloud is harmless, but on rare occasions they can briefly touch down, producing wind gusts over 50 mph. If a funnel cloud is spotted move indoors and report your sighting to the National Weather Service.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.

Marlene Liening
Marlene F. Liening, 72, Minster, died at 3 p.m. Jan. 25, 2012, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
She was born June 23, 1939, in Minster to Herman and Philomena Ruhenkamp Oldiges. On June 23, 1962, she married Thomas Liening, who died Sept. 1, 1979.
Surviving are children, Gayle (Craig) Burns, Mason, Steve (Mary) Liening, Minster, Sue (Luke) Albers, Minster, Patrick W. Liening, Minster, and Jonas (Marlena) Liening, Lexington, Ky.; a brother, Gary (Mary) Oldiges, Minster; a sister-in-law, Mary Lou Oldiges, Beavercreek; and eight grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Ronald Oldiges.
She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster. She was a volunteer for Radio Maria and participated in Why Catholic Bible Study.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-6 p.m. Sunday and 9-9:30 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
