Gladys Harris
Gladys L. Harris, 101, Celina, died at 4:20 p.m. Feb. 21, 2012, at The Gardens, Celina.
She was born July 31, 1910, in Mercer County, to Herbert and Lula Harrison Miller. On Dec. 11, 1926, she married Clarence Harris, who died June 29, 1988.
Surviving are two daughters, Bonnie Stelzer, Celina, and Katharyn (Ralph) Lutz, Celina; a sister-in-law, Sue Miller, New Bremen; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; one stepgrandchild; two stepgreat-grandchildren; and one stepgreat-great-grandchild.
Deceased are five siblings, Leo Miller, Howard Miller, Melvin Miller, Arthur Miller and Flossie Preston and two sons-in-law, Richard Adams, and Arnold "Bozo" Stelzer.
She was a homemaker and a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist in Boston, Mass., and Celina.
Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Douglas Meyer officiating. Burial will follow in North Grove Cemetery.
Calling is 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday.
