Kenneth D. Lutz
Kenneth D. Lutz, 76, St. Marys, died June 1, 2012, at his home.
He was born Feb. 4, 1936, in St. Marys, to Charles and Alice Schmidt Lutz. On Sept. 9, 1960, he married J. Gale McGlothen, who died June 24, 2011.
Surviving are two daughters, Dr. Lori Lutz, Marietta, and Kendra Lutz, Greenfield, Ind.; a son, Steven (Lori) Lutz, Liberty Township; four brothers, Don (Glenna) Lutz, Newark, Ned (Pat) Lutz, Harrison Township, Mich., Dave (Barbra) Lutz, St. Marys, and Bob Lutz, St. Marys; six grandchildren; one stepgrandson and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
Also deceased is a sister, Carol (Bill) Garvin.
He was a 1954 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School and a stone mason for over 50 years.
He was a member and former elder of Zion Lutheran Church, St. Marys, and served a term as councilman-at-large for St. Marys.
Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at the church. A private burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens near Moulton.
Calling is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys.
Memorials may be given to the transplant program at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind.
