Students at Chapel Hill Preschool in Maria Stein sing "Happy Birthday" before launching balloons commemorating the school's 20th birthday. Chapel Hill opened in 1992 at the Maria Stein Center and moved to Marion Local Elementary School in 2002, serving nearly 1,400 students over the years. The balloons contained postcards made by students, according to director Maria Rethman. The preschool operates under the umbrella of the Marion Community Development Organization.
