Periods of light snow will occur this evening and through the overnight. While accumulating snow is expected to end before Thursday morning, falling temperatures and light snow accumulations of one to two inches will result in slick travel tonight and early Thursday.
Slick spots can be expected on roadways, especially bridges and overpasses. If traveling, allow for some extra time to reach your destination and be prepared for wintery driving conditions.
In addition to the snowfall, falling temperatures combined with increased winds will result in feels-like temperatures near zero Thursday morning. If heading outdoors, dress in multiple layers.

A band of snow showers will drop into the region from northern Indiana, and push through the region through the afternoon. Some snow showers could produce a quick light coating of snow on elevated surfaces and bridges. Visibility may also be briefly reduced to a half mile or even less. Northwest winds will also gust up to 30 MPH.
Lighter snowfall will continue into the evening behind the initial band of snow showers, with accumulations from a few tenths to isolated accumulations of up to an inch.
Motorists should exercise caution and be prepared for rapidly changing conditions.

Jerome Sutter
Jerome A. "Jerry" Sutter, 79, Celina, died at 4:15 p.m. June 18, 2013, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
He was born May 13, 1934, in Coldwater, to Albert Sutter and Rosina Buschor. On Aug. 5, 1961, he married Patricia Tittle Sutter, who survives.
Also surviving are his sons, Glenn (Mick) Sutter of Celina, Randy (Nickole) Sutter of Celina and Kevin Sutter of Celina; a daughter, Shirley (Ron) Short of Celina; a brother, Joe (Bev) Sutter of Brookings, Ore.; five sisters, Delores Cosgrove of Wapakoneta, Teresa Gero of Syracuse, N.Y., Pat (Hank) Beyke of Franklin, Tenn., Mary Duwelling of California, and Jeanette (Sylvan) Jutte of St. Henry; and six grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by a son, Joseph Sutter; a daughter, Mary Sutter; four brothers, Herb, Albert, Cy and Bernie Sutter; and a sister, Rita Noll.
He was retired from Goodyear, and had formerly been a farmer. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, and a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict.
Funeral services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception, the Rev. Kenneth Alt officiating. Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Coldwater.
Calling is 3-8 today at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
