Very strong wind gusts and dry soil is leading to areas of blowing dust across the area. This is causing visibility to be reduced to one mile or less in localized area.
Motorists should be prepared for rapidly changing visibility. Slow down and leave plenty of distance between you and the vehicle in front of you.
As winds slowly decrease late this afternoon into the evening, blowing dust should diminish.

Martha Sherman
Martha A. Hartings Sherman, 83, passed away Dec. 16, 2013, at 10:20 a.m. in the James Cancer Hospital, Columbus.
She was born Nov. 18, 1930, in Maria Stein, to Anthony and Margaret Gast Hartings, who both preceded her in death. She married Richard Sherman on Aug. 18, 1951, and he died May 23, 2003.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas (Robin) Sherman, Hilliard, and Timothy (Rose) Sherman, Minster; two daughters, Susan Goldbach, Celina, and Therese (Rick) Uppenkamp, Celina; a brother, Donald (Pearl) Hartings, Fort Worth, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were a great-grandchild; two brothers, Andrew Hartings and Jerome Hartings; and three sisters, Viola Davis, Sally Decker and Julie Heyne.
She was a graduate of Coldwater High School and spent much of her life as a homemaker and a loving caregiver for many people. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Montezuma.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Montezuma. The Rev. Alfons Minja will officiate. Burial will follow in Willow Grove Cemetery, New Bremen.
Calling is 3-7 p.m. Thursday at Cisco Funeral Home in St. Marys.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the James Cancer Hospital in Columbus.
