Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the Tri-State region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Alex Anspach
Alex M. Anspach, 57, of Celina, passed away at his home, on February 12, 2016.
He was born March 4, 1958 in Hicksville, OH, to Irvin and Charlotte (Pollak) Anspach, both survive in Florida. He married Tina Clopp on October 10, 1987, they were together for 29 years and she survives at the residence in Celina.
Survivors include two daughters, Theresa (Richard) Newland, Celina, and Amber (Chris) Horton, St. Marys; two sons Derrick Anspach, FL, and Joseph Clopp, Celina; two sisters, Angela Hakey, FL, and Kelly Anspach, Paine, OH; three brothers, Todd (Lynne) Anspach, CA, Terry Anspach, Dayton, and Kevin Anspach, Convoy, OH; and seven grandchildren.
He proudly served his country in the Army National Guard. He worked his entire life as a laborer.
Alex enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and had a strong faith in God. He will be deeply missed by all.
Memorial Services will begin at 2:00 pm, Thursday, February 18, 2016 in Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, with Pastor Elmer Long officiating; where the family will receive friends Noon- 2:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. To conclude the memorial service military honors will be provided by the Celina American Legion Post 210 and Celina VFW Post 5713.
