* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations up to one inch. Snow melt and refreezing overnight has resulted in the development of black ice on roads.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...Until 11 AM EST this morning.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute.

Snow showers to continue this morning. Slick spots on area roads will be possible this morning with temperatures below freezing. Motorists can expect rapid changes in visibility when encountering some of the heavier snow showers. Northwest winds gusting up to 30 mph will add to the travel impacts due to blowing and drifting snow.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

William Pottkotter
William F. "Bill" Pottkotter, 86, died on September 2, 2016, at Briarwood Village, Coldwater, Ohio.
He was born October 1, 1929, in Fort Recovery, OH, to the late John and Irene (Laux) Pottkotter. On October 17, 1953, in St. Sebastian, OH, he married the late Virginia (Schwieterman) Pottkotter, who died February 19, 2012.
Surviving are seven children, Donald (Anne) Pottkotter of Celina, OH, Dale (Lois) Pottkotter of Celina, OH, Dennis (Pat) Pottkotter of St. Henry, OH, Della (Donald) Wermert of St. Henry, OH, Dan (Ruth) Pottkotter of Coldwater, OH, Joe Pottkotter of Fort Recovery, OH, and Ted (Lori) Pottkotter of Fort Recovery, OH; 26 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; two in-laws, Yolanda Schmiesing, New Bremen, OH and Erwin (Louise) Schwieterman of Maria Stein, OH.
Bill was the last surviving member of his immediate family and was preceded in death by an infant son, Joseph, a daughter-in-law, Marie Pottkotter, 2 grandchildren; his brothers, Ed (Ann) Pottkotter, Vincent (Adeline) Pottkotter, Albert (Marie) Pottkotter, Robert (Marcia) Pottkotter and Jerome (Rita) Pottkotter; his sisters, Agnes (Carl) Fisher, Frances (Wilfred) Hess and Mary (Cletus) Romer; and in-laws, Greg Schmiesing and Earl Schwieterman.
Bill graduated in 1947 from Fort Recovery High School.
He retired from the Fort Recovery Postal Service as a rural mail carrier, was engaged in farming and had also formerly worked as a carpenter. Bill and his five brothers sang together for family weddings and other gatherings. He called square dances in the local area for over forty years. Bill loved to sing.
He was a social member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Fort Recovery, the Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery and was a church choir member for many years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, with Fr. Matthew Feist officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2:00 pm-8:00 pm Wednesday and 9:00 am-10:00 am Thursday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
