* At 807 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near St. Henry, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.

Leo Knapke
Leo H. Knapke, 101, of Celina, passed away at 2:00 p.m. Saturday July 22, 2017 at Celina Manor.
He was born in Chickasaw, OH on July 22, 1916 to John & Anna (Bruns) Knapke who preceded him in death. On November 26, 1949 he married Rita R. Reineke and she passed away on June 29, 2000.
Survivors include 2 sons; Tim (Elaine) Knapke, Tom (Jill) Knapke, a daughter-in-law Deb Knapke all of Celina, 3 grandchildren, Katie Seiler, Tracie Adams, Kahl Knapke, a great-grandson Owen Seiler, 3 sisters Matilda Elking, Mary Ann Klosterman, Florentine Moeller and a brother Robert (Ginny) Knapke.
He was preceded in death by a son, Nick Knapke, 4 sisters Armella Rawers, Olive Miller, Agnes Hemmelgarn, Hilda Brunswick and 2 brothers Norbert and Paul Knapke.
He retired after 40 years of service with Mersman Tables of Celina. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed gardening and woodworking. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday July 26, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Church, Celina with Father Kenneth Schnipke C.PP.S. officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 9:00-11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Community Health Professionals or to Immaculate Conception Church, Endowment Fund.
