At 1236 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near St. Marys, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... St. Marys, New Bremen, Minster, Newport, Anna, Fort Loramie, Botkins, New Knoxville, Moulton, Chickasaw, Kettlersville, Montezuma, Egypt, Lake Loramie State Park, Maria Stein, Carthagena, Bulkhead, Mccartyville, and Houston. This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 101 and 107. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...The following counties, in west central Ohio, Auglaize and Shelby. * WHEN...Until 400 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1248 PM EDT, trained weather spotters reported minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Anna, Jackson Center, Botkins, New Knoxville, Kettlersville, Montra, Mccartyville and Maplewood.

Michael Bushman
Michael W. Bushman, 55, New Bremen, died at 1:15 a.m. Jan. 29, 2020, at his residence.
Services are at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Paul United Church of Christ, New Bremen, the Rev. Becky Erb Strang and Pastor Dee Schroer officiating. Interment will follow at the German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
Calling is from 2-7 p.m. Sunday at the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, and from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the James Cancer Center at The Ohio State University.
