CELINA - For King and Country, one of two acts originally booked for the Mercer County Fair's now canceled 2020 Christian concert, will perform a drive-in show on the fairgrounds parking lot at 8 p.m. Sept. 27, fair manager Cara Muhlenkamp said.
Fair officials also have arranged for the other act - Casting Crowns - to perform at next year's fair on Aug. 14, 2021. [More]

MINSTER - After a long discussion with parents concerned about the district's mandatory mask policy on Monday night, school board members passed an initial policy with guidelines to be finalized later.
The policy was approved 4-1, with board member Ted Oldiges voting against it. [More]

CELINA - School board members at Monday's regular meeting approved a resolution to update the district's face covering plan to comply with a state directive.
4 Auglaize cases are young people
CELINA - The number of COVID-19 cases increased slightly on Monday, as four new cases reported in Mercer County raised its total to 684.
Auglaize County cases increased by 11 over the weekend taking that county's confirmed number of cases to 302.
FORT RECOVERY - Administrators are working to recoup funds from last year's eighth-grade Washington, D.C., trip that was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
COLDWATER - Village research committee members met Monday to finalize a draft ordinance allowing underspeed vehicles on village streets.
