* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Southern Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* WHEN...Until 700 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 355 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Coldwater, St. Henry, Fort Recovery, Chickasaw, Burkettsville, Montezuma, Carthagena and Maria Stein.

Showers and thunderstorms will be capable of producing brief cold air funnels this afternoon and evening. Several funnel clouds have already been spotted across west-central Ohio, with this feature potentially moving into central Ohio over the coming hours. Keep in mind, the majority of these funnels will not reach the ground, but if they do, gusty winds and minor damage may occur.

* WHERE...Portions of east central Indiana, including the following counties, Fayette, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hardin, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Preble, Shelby and Union.
* WHEN...From 4 PM EDT this afternoon through Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A complex of storms will develop later this afternoon and continue overnight. Repeated rounds of storms, combined with the extremely wet soil conditions will increase the risk for flash flooding later this evening into the overnight hours.

Scott Klopfleisch
Scott Klopfleisch, 63, of Brashear, TX passed away at his home with family by his side on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 from pancreatic cancer.
He was born on November 15, 1956 in Celina, OH to Gustov and Betty (Beougher) Klopfleisch. He graduated from Celina High School in 1975 and went on to earn his bachelor's degree from Bowling Green State University in 1980.
He was married March 7, 1981 to Rebecca (Phillips) Klopfleisch. They were together for 42 years. She survives along with their three children: Aaron Klopfleisch of Brashear, TX, Sarah (Chris) Carnes of Terrell, TX, and Kristen (Patrick) Brown of Howe, TX; three grandchildren: Addison Klopfleisch, Noah Brown and Cheyenne Brown; two sisters: Lori (Tim) Thwaits of Carey, OH and Karla (Doug) Smith of Celina, OH; niece: Kendal (Graham) Helmlinger of Jackson Center, OH; nephew: Damon Smith of Celina, OH; and great-nephew: Rowan Helmlinger.
Scott and Rebecca relocated to Dallas, TX in March 1981. He spent 30 years in the corporate world working as an accountant and business consultant/senior director.
He enjoyed camping with this family, hunting with his close friends, watching NASCAR races on the weekends as well as being an animal lover. He spent time traveling and especially enjoyed all the trips home to spend time with family in Ohio. Family was everything to Scott as he always put family first. He had a strong faith in God and strived to live by His word.
He was loved and respected by his family along with many friends and co-workers through the years. We are all saddened and devastated by his passing. He left us too soon and will be missed by all.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Gustov Klopfleisch and Betty (Klopfleisch) Hainline; grandparents: Gail and Osie Beougher as well as Gustov and Emma Klopfleisch; aunt and uncle: Carl and Odessa Klopfleisch and uncle: Wayne Heckler, all of Celina, OH.
