At 226 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 7 miles south of Fort Recovery, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph, pea size hail, frequent cloud-to-ground lightning, and very heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation. Lightning can cause serious injury or death. Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible.
Locations impacted include... Versailles, Union City, Ansonia, Osgood, Burkettsville, North Star, Rossburg, New Weston, Yorkshire, Darke County Airport, North Dayton, Rose Hill, Cosmos, Brock, State Route 47 at US Route 127, Eldora Speedway, and Pikeville.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.
Motorists should slow down and use extra caution.
When thunder roars, go indoors! Do not stay in the open or seek shelter under trees when lightning threatens.

Robert 'Butch' Deitsch
Robert "Butch" A. Deitsch, 65, of Celina, OH died at 8:35 p.m. Wednesday November 4, 2020 at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, OH.
He was born January 13, 1955 in St. Marys, OH to Robert and Ida (Henning) Deitsch. On July 15, 1973 at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in St. Marys, he married Loretta Rupert, who survives.
Also survived by: daughter Dawn (Chad) Heikkila of Minneapolis, MN; son Jason Deitsch of St. Henry, OH; 3 grandchildren: Ashley and Jacob Heikkila, Kirsten Deitsch; sister Cheryl (Gary) Dybdal of Huber Heights, OH; brother Bill (Kris) Deitsch of St. Marys, OH; brother Jeff (Sandy) Deitsch of Trinidad, CO; sister Lynn Freewalt of St. Marys, OH; brother-in-law Owen Hubbell of St. Marys, OH.
Preceded in death by: parents Robert and Ida Deitsch; sister Kris Hubbell.
He was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1973). He was a production employee for Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. in St. Marys and Crown Equipment and Auglaize-Erie Machine Co., both in New Bremen, OH. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ.
An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed target shooting, hunting trapping. He also liked communicating on the Citizens' Band radio, with the handle of "Tennis Shoe".
Rites are scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday November 8, 2020 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys. The Rev. Rhonda Hainer will officiate the services.
Visitation is scheduled from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Paul's UCC.
