  CELINA - Gov. Mike DeWine on Thursday announced people in Phase 1B of the state's COVID-19 vaccination plan will be able to receive vaccines beginning Jan. 19.
The announcement arrived as Mercer County reported one new death and 27 new cases on Wednesday and 13 new cases on Thursday, raising the county's death toll to 67 and total number of cases to 3,493. [More]

Raises are planned
CELINA - Opting to play it safe in uncertain times, Mercer County commissioners on Thursday approved a 2021 budget that is largely in line with last year's appropriations.
