Kathryn Chambers
Kathryn A. Chambers, age 68, of Celina, died Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Kettering Hospital.
She was born August 10, 1952 in Lima to the late William & Agnes (Korte) Fox. On October 12, 1974 she married Robert Chambers, and he survives in Celina.
Kathryn is also survived by four sons and their spouses, Jason & Marie Chambers of Waynesville, Jonathan & Anna Chambers of Lima, James & Emily Chambers of Dayton, and Joseph & Amanda Chambers of Columbus, as well as nine grandchildren, Jack, Nick, Kyra, Mady, Juli, Jon, Ellie, Brooke, and Zoey, a brother, John & Sue Fox of Cassopolis, MI, and in-laws, Clarence Edward & Marsha Chambers of Moraine.
In addition to her parents Kathryn is preceded in death by an infant son, Jeffery Chambers.
Kathryn was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and was active with her husband in the St. Anthony Dinner Theatre. She was a graduate of the Good Samaritan School of Nursing in Dayton and served many years as a Registered Nurse in the Coronary Care Unit at Good Sam and in the Labor and Delivery Department at Miami Valley Hospital. Kathryn enjoyed quilting, genealogy, and fishing, though spending time with her grandchildren was her favorite.
A Mass of Christian Burial following all CDC guidelines will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, January 11, 2021 at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery.
Friends may call from 1 to 4 pm Sunday, January 10 at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
