Light snow will overspread the area from the northwest this morning. An increased coverage of snow showers is expected to develop this afternoon into the evening hours. Slick spots may develop on roads tonight as temperatures drop and northwest winds gust up to 30 mph. Coverage of snow showers is expected to decrease overnight before ending Monday morning. Most the area will see an accumulation of 1 to 2 inches. Locally higher amounts are possible in areas where heavier snow bands develop this afternoon into early evening.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Gerhard Bruns
Gerhard "George" H. Bruns age 85 of Chickasaw, Ohio died Saturday, March 27, 2021 at State of the Heart Inpatient Unit at Wayne Hospital, Greenville, Ohio. He was born January 1, 1936 in Coldwater, Ohio to the late August & Agnes (Buening) Bruns. He married Rosemary Braun on October 5, 1957 in Philothea, Ohio. She survives in Chickasaw.
He is also survived by children: Carol & Dave Schwieterman, Wapakoneta, Rick "Buck" & Angie Bruns, Chickasaw, Cheryl & Dave Schaefer, St. Rose, 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, sisters: Dorothy Lehmkuhle, Lakeview, Helen & George Barhorst, Fort Loramie, sister-in-law Jan Bruns, Sidney, in-laws: Dorothy Sudhoff, Ft. Recovery, Betty Meyer, Newport, Ruth Brunswick, Celina, Marlene & Romie Fullenkamp, Bryant, IN, Rich Highley, Celina, Karen & Paul Boeke, Cassella.
He was preceded in death by brothers & sisters: Walter & Dorothy Bruns, Wilbert & Thelma Bruns, Jim Lehmkuhle, Ralph & Alice Bruns, Mary & Carl Ranly, Delores & Jack Gaier, Leonard Bruns, Alvin Bruns and August Bruns, Jr. who died at birth.
He was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church, Chickasaw and the Men's Sodality of the Church. He was also a member of the Knights of St. John and past president. He was a former member of the Chickasaw Community Mutual Fire Company. He served in the US Army from 1954 to 1956. He worked at the Minster Foundry and delivered Air Stream trailers.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Precious Blood Catholic Church, Chickasaw. Burial with full military honors will follow at Precious Blood Cemetery, Chickasaw. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry from 3 to 7 PM on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 and from 9 to 10 AM on Wednesday.
Visitors are asked to follow CDC guidelines. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the State of the Heart Hospice. Condolences may be left at www.hogenkampfh.com.
