Snow showers to continue this morning. Slick spots on area roads will be possible this morning with temperatures below freezing. Motorists can expect rapid changes in visibility when encountering some of the heavier snow showers. Northwest winds gusting up to 30 mph will add to the travel impacts due to blowing and drifting snow. Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

MARIA STEIN - Two people were transported to Mercer County Community Hospital with non-life threatening injuries after they were involved in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of state routes 119 and 716 reported at 2:16 p.m. Monday.
Mercer County's unemployment rate for June was 3.9%, up significantly from May's rate of 2.9%.
