At 146 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Coldwater, moving southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph, pea size hail, and frequent cloud-to-ground lightning.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation. Lightning can cause serious injury or death.
Locations impacted include... Coldwater, St. Henry, Fort Recovery, Chickasaw, Burkettsville, Carthagena, and Maria Stein.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.
When thunder roars, go indoors! Do not stay in the open or seek shelter under trees when lightning threatens.

Paula Short
Paula L. Short, 64, of Coldwater, Ohio, was called home to heaven on November 24th, 2021, at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio.
She was born January 29th, 1957, in Lake Forest, Illinois, the daughter of James and Patricia (Hart) Short, both parents preceded her in death. On March 31st, 2001 Paula married Danney Slife, and he is deceased.
Paula is survived by her step-mother Jan Short of Florida, several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews, Sister Patricia Wyatt of Sidney, Ohio, step-sister Laura O'Sullivan, step-brother Greg Harris both of Florida, and half-brother Bill Catto of California.
Paula was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and aunt Pearl Williams.
Paula graduated high school and went on to obtain her Master of Divinity from Wilson College in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. She worked as a former Presbyterian Minister for many years. In 2011 Paula converted to the Roman Catholic faith. Paula loved her Phi Beta Kappa sorority, loved to spend time with her nephew to whom she was very close, going to church, and most of all spending time with her family and friends. Paula was a member of the Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney, Ohio.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, December 7th, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Fr. Aaron Hess. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Sidney.
Friends may call at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney on Monday, December 6th, 2021 from 5-7 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mount St. Mary's Seminary.
