Plan is to move to another building

CHICKASAW - Councilors at their Wednesday meeting advanced a plan to sell the village hall. Sealed bids on the building will be opened at the March 9 council meeting.
Mayor Ben Kramer reported council directed village solicitor Judy Koesters to prepare a legal description of the property on Wayne Street to prepare to advertise for bids on the building. He said council set the minimum bid at $90,000. [More]

CELINA - Mercer County Common Pleas Court Judge Jeffery Ingraham heralded the creation of a county public defenders commission to ensure representation for indigent people in the court system.
CELINA - Mercer Soil and Water Conservation District members approved a new tier affiliate membership system during their meeting Thursday.
The new membership system was introduced by education technician Ariel Hein and district administrator Michael Watercutter during the meeting.
