Periods of light snow will occur this evening and through the overnight. While accumulating snow is expected to end before Thursday morning, falling temperatures and light snow accumulations of one to two inches will result in slick travel tonight and early Thursday.
Slick spots can be expected on roadways, especially bridges and overpasses. If traveling, allow for some extra time to reach your destination and be prepared for wintery driving conditions.
In addition to the snowfall, falling temperatures combined with increased winds will result in feels-like temperatures near zero Thursday morning. If heading outdoors, dress in multiple layers.

Ralph J. Meyer
Ralph J. Meyer, age 83, of Coldwater, Ohio, died Monday, January 24, 2022, at Gardens of St. Henry.
He was born January 16, 1939 in Willowdell to the late Lawrence & Lauretta (Otte) Meyer. He married Marilyn A. (Barhorst) on February 27, 1960 and she died August 22, 2017.
He is survived by his children: Joan & Ted Griesdorn of Coldwater, Larry & Becky Meyer of Celina, Carla & Dale Kahlig, Jim Meyer, Ralph & Carmen Meyer and Sandy & Eric Bettinger all of Coldwater; 21 grandchildren: Tony, Kelly, Justin, Kim, Dan, Cody, Ralph, LJ, Nathan, Anna, Michael, Matthew, Robert, Alex, Ben, Chris, Seth, Kala, Lexi, Malave, Creighton; 16 great grandchildren: Andrea, Aric, Lauryn, Lukas, Wyatt, Jaxon, Aubree, Morgan, Colton, Kendra, Chase, Kash, Preston, Sophia, Grayson, Jace; siblings and in-laws, Sr. Norma Meyer SFP of Cincinnati, Thelma Smith of Newport, Linus & Sylvia Meyer of Maria Stein, Harold & Janice Meyer of St. Marys, and Mary Ann & Dave Groff of Huntington, IN, Doris Bruggeman of St. Henry, Clarissa Barhorst of Russia, Joseph Barhorst of Philothea and Martha & Richard Subler of New Bremen.
He is preceded in death by a grandson Zachary; a great granddaughter Kaitlyn; siblings and in-laws, Joseph Meyer, Deb Meyer, Earl Smith, Clarissa & William Brinkman, Charlene Homan-Schmit, Werner Homan, Lavern Schmit, Virgil Bruggeman, Dolores & Werner Bruggeman, Herbert Barhorst, Clarence & Shirley Barhorst, Wilma Barhorst, Emily & Jack Subler, Eloise & Ivo Braun, Marjorie & Ed Rethman.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, Coldwater Eagles and Knights of Columbus. Ralph drove truck for Dick Lavy and Cheeseman.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Friends may call 4 to 7 pm Wednesday and 9 to 10 am Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Memorial may be made to the Activities Fund at St. Henry Gardens.
