Huge school project progress
Photo by Paige Sutter/The Daily Standard

Much progress has been made the last several weeks in laying down gravel and establishing a building pad ahead of construction at Celina City Schools. The first phase of the overall $126.8 million building project includes consolidating the pre-K-sixth grade facility to be known as the new Celina Elementary School. Plans call for adding a new 115,000-square-foot addition onto the existing Celina Intermediate School at 227 Portland St.
