Jean Now
Jean L. Now, 80 of Celina, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at her home in Celina.
She was born July 4, 1942 in Van Wert to the late James and Irene (Allen) Nichols. On June 16, 1963 she married Larry B. Now and he survives at the residence in Celina.
Other survivors include her children, Michael (Bonnie) Now, Paulding, Teresa (Now) Monnin, Celina and David (Holly) Now, St. Marys; a sister, Diane Black, Denver, Colorado; five grandchildren, Michael, Chance, Bryce, Zach and Cameron; and one great granddaughter, Fiona.
She was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Dean Black; and a grandson, Cody Now.
Jean was a 1960 graduate of Mendon Union High School. She retired after working for many years at Walmart in Celina. She was a member of Church of God in Mendon and the Celina Moose. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, being a snowbird in Florida in the winters and play in her card club. She love her family, especially her grandchildren and will be deeply missed by all.
Funeral services will be held at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina; where the family will receive friends from 2:00pm - 5:00 pm prior to the services at the funeral home. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the Now family.
