Linda Marshal
Linda L. (Grunden) Marshal, 81 of Celina, Ohio peacefully passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at her residence.
She was born on July, 20, 1941 in Celina, Ohio to the late Herbert and Thelma (Shaner) Grunden.
Linda is survived by her husband of 61 years, Gene Marshal, whom she married on February 11, 1961 and children Jim and Deb Marshal, Beavercreek, OH, Jim and Sue (Marshal) Zeisloft, Celina, Andy and Patty (Marshal) Olmsted, Baltimore, OH, 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and siblings and in-laws, Michael and Lou Grunden, Jerry Grunden, Edna Kay Gibson, and Sammie Joe Grunden.
In addition to her parents, Linda is proceeded in death by her siblings Jack Grunden, Donald Gene Grunden, Diane Grunden, sister-in-law Madelyn Grunden and brother-in-law Michael Gibson.
Linda was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Linda loved spending time with her family, especially entertaining her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her grandchildren meant the world to her. Linda had a passion for flowers and spent many hours planting and tending to her flower garden. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, baking, quilting, and crocheting.
A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 23, 2023 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, 6701 St. Rt. 219, Montezuma, OH, followed by a burial at St. Louis Cemetery in North Star, OH.
Friends and family may visit with the Marshal family on Sunday, January 22, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Monday, January, 23, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, 715 E. Main street, Coldwater, OH.
