Snow showers associated with an arctic front are moving through this morning, providing a quick accumulation of snowfall. With wind gusts between 30 and 40 mph, the snow showers combined with blowing snow are reducing visibility and creating challenging travel conditions. These conditions are most impactful on roads that are more rural and are aligned from north to south. Even after the snow ends, elevated winds will continue to blow snow into the early afternoon.
Use caution and allow for extra time to reach your destination.

An Arctic front will sweep east across the region between 5 AM and 9 AM. A few hours of snow showers and west wind gusts of 35 to 40 mph will occur with the frontal passage. While any accumulations will generally be a half inch or less, some challenging travel conditions may develop given, rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities, strong wind and cold temperatures. These conditions will impact the morning commute. Use caution and allow for extra time to reach your destination.

Janet Dillhoff
August 5, 1934 - June 14, 2023
Arlington, Texas -- Janet Luken Dillhoff of Arlington, Texas passed away on June 14, 2023. Born on August 5, 1934 in Coldwater, Ohio to the late Arthur and Philomena (Uppenkamp) Luken. Preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Edward; siblings Melvin, Jim, Wilma, and Tom; and son Dean. She is survived by one sibling, Margeria; five of her children, Gregg (late wife Debbie), Doug, Angela (Tim) Ratliff, Peggy (Chad) Anderson, and Paula; daughter-in-law Leigh, 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Janet's greatest love was her family. She cherished the holiday season, which was her favorite time of year, when she was surrounded with the joy and laughter of those she loved. She touched many lives and will be dearly missed, but will always be remembered through the recipes she passed down, by the traditions she created, and by the depth of her love.
Private services will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
