Periods of light snow will occur this evening and through the overnight. While accumulating snow is expected to end before Thursday morning, falling temperatures and light snow accumulations of one to two inches will result in slick travel tonight and early Thursday.
Slick spots can be expected on roadways, especially bridges and overpasses. If traveling, allow for some extra time to reach your destination and be prepared for wintery driving conditions.
In addition to the snowfall, falling temperatures combined with increased winds will result in feels-like temperatures near zero Thursday morning. If heading outdoors, dress in multiple layers.

Jennifer Hall-Bower

Jennifer M. Hall-Bower, 50, of Wapakoneta, Ohio died at 12:38 a.m. on Friday January 26, 2024 in the emergency department at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, Ohio.

She was born June 15, 1973 in St. Marys, Ohio to Dale and Florence (DeLong) Hall. On August 15, 1992 in St. Marys, Ohio she married Dan W. Bower, who survives.

Also survived by son Michael (Alicia Cummins) Bower of Wapakoneta, Ohio; daughter Deanna (Kevin Blair) Bower of Wapakoneta, Ohio; son Skylar Bower of Wapakoneta, Ohio; six grandchildren: Landen, Dabias, Natalie, Logan, Liam and Layla; sister Pam (Larry) Jaquay of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and sister Betty (Shane Krontz) Hall of Columbus Grove, Ohio.

Preceded in death by father Dale Hall and grandson Braden Davenport.

She was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1991). For many years, she managed the American Legion Post #323 in St. Marys. She was a member of Eagles Lodge Aerie #691 and American Legion Post #330 auxiliaries, both in Wapakoneta. Her favorite pastimes included playing cards, bingo, and spending time with family and close friends.

Rites are scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. on Thursday February 1, 2024 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys. Pastor Keith Stuck will officiate the services.

Visitation from 2-6 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
