Sandra Giere
Sandra Lynn (Sam) Giere was born in Coldwater Ohio on June 20, 1953. She has passed on to be with the Lord on March 12, 2025.
She was the daughter of Jo Ann McEvoy Giere and Edward R. Giere Jr. Surviving siblings are Susan K. Colombo, Honolulu, HI, Michael E. Giere, Port St. Joe, FL and Joni Baggett, Orlando, FL, with one deceased brother, Jeffery (Bo) L. Giere.
Sister Sam was the most giving and generous person around. With her stay at Magnolia Towers in Orlando, Sam was always letting them know what could be done around the building to make everyone more comfortable and frequently dropping off sodas to whoever wanted one. You never left her place without her offering something to take home. Several of Sam's highlights in life was being Maid of Honor for Homecoming her Senior Year at Coldwater High School and also being selected as one of the original female ambassadors to the Contemporary Hotel when Disney had their huge opening and getting her photo on the cover of Life Magazine with another 1,000 employees. She was loved by family, friends, neighbors and strangers and will be sorely missed.
Per Sam's request, there will be no service or memorial. May God Bless her!
