Brent Vogel
Brent M. Vogel, 55, formerly of Celina, OH died Monday February 17, 2025 at Kindred Hospital in Lima, OH, from injuries sustained in an accidental fall at his residence.
He was born October 14, 1969 in Celina, OH to Thomas and Shari (Brown) Vogel.
Survivors include: wife Susan E. (Schilling) Vogel of Leipsic, OH; daughter Mic Kenzie Vogel of Celina, OH; son Zachary Vogel of Celina, OH; father Thomas (Lucille Ashley) Vogel of Celina, OH; sister Brenda Stein of Lewis Center, OH; sister Kyrsten (Mike) Walton of Celina, OH; brother Joshua (Jackie) Vogel of Columbus, OH; brother Matthew Vogel of Coldwater, OH; nieces and nephews and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceded in death by: mother Shari (Brown) Vogel; paternal grandparents Harold and Mildred Vogel; maternal grandparents Paul and Lois Brown.
He was a graduate of Celina Senior High School (Class of 1988) and Rhodes State College in Lima, OH.
Brent proudly served his country in the United States Army. A heavy equipment operator, he was assigned to Co. A 577th Engineer Battalion.
A Nationally Registered Paramedic, he had worked for Celina Fire Department, Oklahoma City, OK EMS and volunteered for Mercer Co. EMS with Squad 4 in Rockford, OH. Recently, he had worked at TSC in Ottawa, OH.
His favorite pastime was fishing. An expert marksman and strong supporter of the 2nd Amendment, he enjoyed target practice in his free time.
A Celebration of Brent's Life is scheduled to be held Sunday March 16, 2025 from 1 - 3 p.m. at the Restoration Center located at 5100 Fairground Road in Celina, OH.
The Mercer Co. Firefighters' Association Colorguard will conduct a funeral honors ceremony at 2:00 p.m.
Casual dress is encouraged for attendees.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
