A band of snow showers will drop into the region from northern Indiana, and push through the region through the afternoon. Some snow showers could produce a quick light coating of snow on elevated surfaces and bridges. Visibility may also be briefly reduced to a half mile or even less. Northwest winds will also gust up to 30 MPH.
Lighter snowfall will continue into the evening behind the initial band of snow showers, with accumulations from a few tenths to isolated accumulations of up to an inch.
Motorists should exercise caution and be prepared for rapidly changing conditions.

Karen Geise
Karen Dianne (Dilsaver) Geise, age 79, passed away of natural causes early Monday morning, May 5, 2025, at her residence on S. Garfield Street in Minster, Ohio.
She was born December 11, 1945, in Celina, Ohio, to the late Ira & Hazel "Lodean" (Davis) Dilsaver. On August 19, 1978, in St. Marys, Karen married Kenneth H. Geise who preceded her in death on December 8, 2021.
Surviving are four children: Carrie & Allen Bockrath of St. Partick, Shannon & Tim Barhorst of Sidney, William Truax of Union City, Lodean & Robert Littleton of Minster; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; three siblings, Wayne & Gloria Dilsaver of St. Marys, Darrel & Becky Dilsaver of St. Marys and Lisa & Jennifer Hicks of Wyoming; two sisters-in-law, Irene Geise of Somerville and Charlotte Geise of Union along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Barbara Jean Geise; one brother, Steven Dilsaver and several brothers & sisters-in-law: Ray & Dorothy Geise, Ed & Mildred Geise, Victor Geise, Leonard & Martha Geise, Don & Margaret Geise, Mary & Carl Seger, Anthony "June" & Ann Geise and Fred & Norma Geise.
Karen was a 1965 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. She had primarily been a dedicated homemaker. Over the years, she also worked at various local factories and restaurants. In her leisure, Karen enjoyed crocheting, knitting, reading, playing digital board games and especially camping with her family.
Funeral Services will be held 10:30 AM, Friday, May 9, 2025, at Gehret Funeral Home in Fort Loramie with Pastor Kris Geise presiding. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery. Family and friends may visit Thursday, 4:00 to 7:00 PM and Friday, 9:00 to 10:00 AM at Gehret Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Grand Lake Hospice or charities of choice. Private condolences may be expressed at the gehretfuneralhome.com website.
