CELINA - School board members have moved to place a five-year emergency renewal levy on the Nov. 4 general election ballot.
At a special meeting last week, board members approved a resolution to proceed with the levy, which they consider a crucial funding source. Generating $4.9 million or about 15% of the district's annual budget, the levy is set to expire at the end of the year. [More]

FORT RECOVERY - The Fort Recovery Police Department may soon work with a public safety policy management system to better keep up with the ever changing case law, expectations and training requirements of law enforcement.
CELINA - Craig Klopfleisch, a one-time Celina mayor who also served on the Mercer County Board of Elections, died Sunday at 76.
Klopfleisch's cause of death was listed as lung cancer in his obituary.
