Says federal shutdown 'likely'
NEW BREMEN - U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Urbana, visited the Lockkeepers House in New Bremen on Tuesday afternoon to tout the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, speculate on a potential government shutdown and discuss his ongoing committee work.

CELINA - A 50-year-old Celina man was sentenced to three years probation for methamphetamine possession in Mercer County Common Pleas Court on Tuesday.
The Ohio Rail Development Commission on Sept. 18 approved a $497,875 grant to improve rail service on a shortline rail facility located in Mercer and Auglaize counties. The project was one of five rail infrastructure projects across Ohio receiving grants.
