* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...The following counties, in west central Ohio, Auglaize, Champaign, Darke, Hardin, Logan, Miami and Shelby. * WHEN...Until 1030 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 724 PM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP - Club Island resident Shirley Knox marked two accomplishments in August: She published her first book and celebrated her 97th birthday.

CELINA - A 21-year-old St. Marys man accused of having sexual contact with a 12-year-old when he was 19 was sentenced to probation in Mercer County Common Pleas Court on Wednesday.
