A Celina home was severely damaged by fire Monday night before Celina Fire Department crews managed to extinguish the blaze.
No injuries were reported, though two dogs were killed and a neighboring home also sustained unspecified damage.
According to a news release from the Celina Fire Department, the department responded to a reported structure fire in a single-story home at 623 Cron St. in Celina at 11:17 p.m. [More]

CELINA - Since October, no-turn-on-red signs have been installed at five protected intersections in Celina in an effort to prevent accidents.
City councilors have since taken calls from the public, and they addressed the issue head-on at this week's regular council meeting when an audience member drew attention to increased traffic resulting from motorists no longer being able to turn right at the protected intersections. [More]
