The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued an Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio, from 7 AM Thursday to midnight EDT Thursday night.
Smoke from Canadian wildfires will adversely impact air quality. The Agency expects the Air Quality Index to be in the 'unhealthy for sensitive groups' range.

* WHAT...Heat index values up to 101.

* WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT this evening.
* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.

Growing animals from chicks until they're ready for showing at the fair is a big part of FFA and 4-H poultry projects. With the Grand Event Center housing equine and beef cattle, freeing up space elsewhere on the fairgrounds, the poultry will have more room this year in the old horse barn.
