* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

Cletus Schoenlein
Cletus H. Schoenlein, age 75, of rural Ridgeville passed away on Tuesday June 30, 2026 in Greenville, Ohio.
He was born in Celina, Ohio on August 5, 1950 the son of Virgil and Elenor (Huber) Schoenlein. He was married on November 28, 1974 to Sharon Siefring who survive.
Cletus was a truck driver, farmer, and drove a school bus for over 37 years. He was a 1968 Fort Recovery High School graduate, served in the US Army for 6 years and member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Portland. He loved playing church softball, fishing, gardening, genealogy and spending time with family.
Surviving is his wife Sharon, one son Ryan Schoenlein (wife Shelby) of Ridgeville, two daughters Christy Shuppert (husband Kirk) of Greenfield and Mindy Fullenkamp (husband Steve) of Bryant, three brothers Ernest Schoenlein (wife Betty) of Portland, Dennis Schoenlein (wife Deb) of Fort Recovery and Don Schoenlein (wife Diana) of Coldwater. Six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a brother Jerry Schoenlein and a sister Diane Schoenlein.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday July 7th at 10:00 AM in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Fr. Peter Logsdon and Fr. Martin Sandhage presiding. Burial will follow in the Green Park Cemetery both in Portland.
Visitation will be Monday from 3:00 - 7:00 PM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home.
