Tackling the heat

It's July and festival season is in full swing.
But so are the dog days of summer when the glaring sun and high humidity can cause health problems if precautions aren't taken. Temperatures this weekend are expected to stay in the upper 80s with the possibility of high humidity. [
Mariners sweep two from Xenia

Clutch hitting helped Grand Lake extend its winning streak to four games after a doubleheader sweep over Xenia at Jim Hoess Field on Wednesday night.
Quentin Brown and Bryant Witt each belted game-winning hits late in each game as the Mariners beat the Athletes in Action, 3-2 and 2-1. [
