Light snow will overspread the area from the northwest this morning. An increased coverage of snow showers is expected to develop this afternoon into the evening hours. Slick spots may develop on roads tonight as temperatures drop and northwest winds gust up to 30 mph. Coverage of snow showers is expected to decrease overnight before ending Monday morning. Most the area will see an accumulation of 1 to 2 inches. Locally higher amounts are possible in areas where heavier snow bands develop this afternoon into early evening.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Roseann Osterfeld
Roseann E. Osterfeld, 79, 504 West Plum St., Coldwater, died at 12:15 p.m. Aug. 5, 2006, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
She was born Nov. 11, 1926, in Celina, to John and Mary Daly Pfeffenberger. On June 5, 1948, she married Paul J. Osterfeld, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Paul II (Paula) and Gary (Jeanne), all of Coldwater, and David (Pam), Columbus; a daughter, Joyce (Michael) Homan, Greenville; two sisters, Marie (Gene) Schilling, Coldwater, and Dottie (Robert) Lochtefeld, Celina; a sister in-law, Alma Osterfeld, Coldwater; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Deceased are five brothers, Arthur, Louis, Linus, and twins Albert and Alfred Pfeffenberger; six sisters, Mary and Margaret Pfeffenberger, Erma Fifer, Irene LePage, Lucille Schmidt and Dorothy Lochtefeld; and two brothers-in-law, Robert and Thomas Osterfeld.
She retired from the former Celina Huffy Bicycle Company in 1990 after 21 years of service. She was a 1944 graduate of Celina Immaculate Conception School. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, its ladies Rosary Altar Sodality and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5135 Auxiliary, all of Coldwater. She was a blood donor and volunteer at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater, and Coldwater Schools cafeteria.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Ronald Wilker officiating. Burial will be at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
